Pain, Rain, Maine

      

        "No pain, no rain, no Maine"

This is a saying we have heard a lot out here while on our thru hike. If you don't go through the pain or the rain you won't get to Maine! 

It is so very true and we have been through the pain....

But because we stuck through all the pain and rain.... We are finally in MAINE!

The White Mountains

What a glorious time it has been in the White Mountains! We had great weather and clear wonderous views! Our hiking slowed down a bit because of the difficult terrain, but that made it all the more enjoyable.

NY, CT, MA, VT, NH dude!!!

We are working our way north. Since our last update we have hiked through New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and we are currently in New Hampshire. We are having a blast, this doesn't mean it hasn't been tough, it's been really hard (mentally). But we are going to make it :) 

New York was a fun vacation within our vacation with some of Cupids hikers. We spent 4 wonderful days there doing all the touristy things. Big thanks to the Wilds for letting is stay at their place! 

While in Connecticut we got to see our family friends, the Greenes! Thanks for letting us stay with you and for feeding us stinky hikers! We had so much fun on the boat!

We had a huge group at the Hikers Welcome Hostel in New Hampshire at the base of Mt Moosilauke. 

And we are officially in the Whites!!! Shits about to get real! Homestretch baby! Well kinda :) we have 398 miles to go!
